JEFF DAVIS PARISH
In Jefferson Davis Parish, voters approved the renewal of three school taxes.
Voters in Lake Arthur's School District No. 1 gave permission for the 10 year renewal of the 7.85 Mills property tax for the district. The tax raises about $224,000 annually.
Voters in School District No. 3 (Hathaway) gave overwhelming approval to the continuation of a 3.53 mill property tax for schoools. The tax raises about $45,000 annually. Voters approved a continuation until 2029, 67 percent to 33 percent.
Voters in School District No. 22, which includes parts of Jeff Davis and Allen parishes, approved a $4 million bond issue for the district, 60 to 40 percent.
